LATINO CENTER OF THE MIDLANDS
Latino Center of the Midlands (LCM) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building a stronger, more engaged Latino community in Omaha, Nebraska. They are cultivating generations of engaged, thriving Latinos through educational support, workforce development and leadership opportunities.
WHERE WE STARTED
LCM engaged E Creative for support with their branding and communications needs as they approached their milestone anniversary of 50 years of serving the Latino community. We initiated our collaboration with a Branding and Communications Planning session that included key stakeholders to discuss LCM’s history, current work and their vision for the future of their organization. The work completed during this session was fundamental in establishing their new brand identity, foundational messaging and the Communications Strategy for the organization.
WHAT WE DID TOGETHER
Together, we created a new identity and messaging that aligned with who they are today while supporting their goals for the future. We moved into designing a new, fully bilingual website for their brand launch. Inspired by the historic South Omaha community where LCM is headquartered, we created a unique system design. Everything from stationery to brochures and fliers to interior and exterior signage were rebranded. Additionally, we designed a fiftieth anniversary celebratory logo around the theme of 50 Years of Impact and created a public relations and social media launch plan to build up momentum and garner media attention.
“Their expert team led us through a unique process that strategically aligned our messaging with our new brand to truly reflect who we are. I couldn’t be happier with the results.”
THE IMPACT IT MADE
As the leader in serving the Latino community, the rebrand of LCM was important to create a brand presence that reflects the diverse community that they serve through deep and meaningful programming. Since the launch of their new brand and website, LCM has experienced a significant increase in traffic to their website. Their internal team has been actively utilizing the graphics libraries, templates and brand tools we provided them to consistently manage on-going communications that engage.
ALL THE FEELS
The feedback from LCM and in the community regarding the new brand has been overwhelmingly positive. The history and impact LCM has in Omaha, especially within the Latino community, was something very important to our team and made this collaboration all the more meaningful to us – it was a dream project!
