SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER POSITION SUMMARY
At E Creative we believe that great design can have a significant impact for our clients. We are looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio displaying a wide range of work experience combined with a heart for the community. On our team, you will take the lead in creating powerful designs on a variety of projects that enhance brand recognition for our extraordinary clients and E Creative.
In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A strong eye for detail and impactful visual systems is a must. Possessing a deep understanding of typography, color, composition and graphic and interactive design is required. Strong communication, organizational and time management skills are an essential part of this role to work efficiently while creating innovative designs. You will be a key contributor to E Creative’s values and culture – a company built on years of positive and meaningful relationships.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with our creative team and our clients to deliver designs that resonate. You will be expected to:
- Take the lead on design and layout while having the ability to see projects through all stages including revisions and production
- Understand and anticipate client needs and requirements to translate them into visually compelling designs for print, digital and web
- Create unique concepts and exceptional designs with supporting rationale for logos, websites, campaigns, illustrations, digital graphics, print materials, animated graphics and more
- Apply strategic design theory to create new designs while improving existing creative
- Maintain knowledge of print production processes
- Prepare quality production files for our vendors and clients with an eye for detail
- Interact with our clients in ways that leave them feeling heard, supported and confident in the fact that E Creative is an extension of their team
- Provide design support and participate in client presentations with the E Creative team
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
- Collaborate closely with account managers and production vendors to ensure deliverables are on target with the client’s goals, timelines and budget
- Achieve objectives by working both independently and collaboratively with the entire E Creative team
- Offer creative solutions to in-house processes and practices that are proactive and promote efficiency within the team
- Research and stay current on the latest trends, software, applications and technology that drive the industry and advise on implementation for improved efficiencies
- Anticipate and troubleshoot problems that may impede a project and implement solutions
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education and/or associates degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred
- Five-Seven years of professional experience in a graphic designer role with conventional mediums (i.e., digital, print, collateral, social, etc.)
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of social media platforms, website platform (WordPress), print production and design required
- Collaborate effectively with team and creative leadership through all stages of creative implementation
- Ability to communicate effectively with solid written and verbal skills
- Passionate about service, our mission, having FUN and being a team player are paramount
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task several projects at one time in a face-paced agency
SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Requires flexibility in working extra hours or outside normal business hours as needed to meet client deadlines
- On-site work with ability to work remotely occasionally as required (ex: inclement weather)

COMPENSATION
Salary range will be based on relevant work experience and industry knowledge.
